When I decided to “go pro” I teamed up with a group of 17 photographers from all across the nation. Our group Breakfast Club Photography was a support group of sorts. The seasoned photographers of the bunch would share their wisdom and expertise with the “just starting out gals”, which included me! The group provided us all with a way to share our work and ideas with like minded individuals.

Last winter we all decided to put together the information we all have accumulated into a magazine form and that is how Breakfast Club Photography Magazine was born. The magazine is a how-to for moms who want to take better pictures of their children, as well as a pro photography guide to all things awesome. The 18 of us work hard on each issue sharing stories, pictures, and how-to’s. The whole magazine is a labor of love.

My role on the magazine is a small one compared to some of the other moms, I write a column about things I have experienced through starting a business. I also submit pictures for both the cover and articles in the magazine. This all brings me to the big news…
